At the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences in the United States, scholarships funded by the AIAS Foundation are offered to students at the undergraduate and graduate levels, regardless of nationality or field of study.

The Professional Scholarship Winners will each receive a travel allowance to an additional gaming event in addition to the tuition that they receive for winning the Academic Scholarship.

Eligibility requirements :

The completion of the following conditions is necessary for students to have their applications evaluated for participation in this programme :

- Being enrolled as a full-time student in an undergraduate or graduate programme at an institution that has been pre-approved;

- A grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.3 on a scale of 4.0 is required;

- It is not necessary for applicants to be citizens or permanent residents of the United States in order for them to be considered for the scholarship. The "Specifically Designated Nationals" public terrorist watch list is off limits to any and all non-citizens of the United States who are the recipients of a scholarship under the provisions of federal law.

- Family members of AIAS Foundation Board members and staff, as well as significant individual supporters of the Foundation, as determined by a minimum donation of $1,000, are not eligible for consideration for the award;

- It is necessary for educational organisations to receive accreditation from the university or college-based educational establishment(s) that are appropriate and customary in the nation(s) in which they are active;

- They cannot have previously been awarded this scholarship.

1. A personal statement that is no longer than two pages and includes the following:

2. Two recent letters of recommendation that have been signed are as follows:

- The recommendation letters must come from colleagues or faculty in the students' current academic programmes, from the administration, or from faculty members who know the students on a personal level;

- The recommendation letters need to emphasise the applicant's ability to make a major contribution to the gaming industry by virtue of their character, the service they provide, or their leadership talents.

3. Include the following on your student applications:
