Scholarship Programmes Eastern Africa for Postgraduate African Students , DAAD 2022

 The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is looking for qualified candidates who are interested in participating in its ongoing 2022 Scholarship program.

The German Academic Exchange Service, more often referred to as DAAD, was established in the year 1985 as a public university in the city of Erfurt, which serves as the capital of the German state of Thuringia. It was established in 1379, but it ceased operations in 1816.

One of the main German assistance organizations working in the area of international academic collaboration is called the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD for short).

Requirements for Scholarship Programmes Eastern Africa Qualification

Applicants are required to demonstrate that they satisfy the DAAD requirements listed below :


- Have finished a Bachelor's degree program, which is often a three-year program (Master candidates), with grades that are much better than average (at least: Second Class/Upper Division if applicable).

or

- Have a Master's degree from a university, which typically takes two years to finish (doctoral candidates), that you earned with grades that were much better than average (at least: Second Class/Upper Division if available).

- Make your motivation and level of dedication very clear.

- Have an in-depth understanding of the language being used in the classroom.

- Have typically earned their most recent degree from an accredited college or university no more than six years before submitting their application.

- Participants have to be citizens or long-term residents of one of the countries in sub-Saharan Africa.

- Should in most cases be either a) a staff member of a public institution, b) an applicant considered for teaching or research staff recruitment, c) from the public sector, and/or d) alumni of the DAFI program.

There are two stages involved in the application procedure. You must be aware of both the application deadline for the DAAD and the deadline for the host institution. Applicants are required to submit their scholarship requests via the DAAD's online application system first. Applicants are required to visit the DAAD website, where they must first register themselves before submitting their DAAD application. Applicants are required to submit an application for admission to the designated host university at the same time as this procedure is being completed.
